Begrudgingly, I’m going to say that WWE champion Liv Morgan is an athlete.
It’s not anything personal against Morgan, far from it. I just want to vomit every time I have to think of the WWE as a sport, since it’s all scripted.
Nevertheless, Morgan does possess strong athletic capabilities, but one thing she does not do often (at least to my knowledge) is throw things regularly. But that didn’t stop her from doing a pretty decent job of throwing out the first pitch at Fenway Park on Sunday.
Before the Boston Red Sox beat the San Diego Padres 4-1, Morgan walked up to the mound donning her WWE belt. She then proceeded to toss a baseball toward home plate, and all things considered, it went pretty well.
Not to be overly critical, but it does look like she doesn’t have much experience throwing a baseball. Even so, she didn’t embarrass herself at all.

And that’s more than NFL draft picks Jayden Daniels and J.J. McCarthy can say.
Mind you, both of these guys could be starting quarterbacks in the NFL next season, so they have quite a bit of experience throwing things.
But earlier this month, this is all Daniels could do at a Washington Nationals game.
McCarthy fared much worse (if that’s possible) just a few days later. At least his had some mustard on it.
In about four seconds, Morgan got to: a) throw out the first pitch in America’s best ballpark and b) show that she can throw baseballs better than two NFL quarterbacks.
I’d say that was a solid afternoon for the WWE champion, wouldn’t you?
